With over a decade of experience in the commercial real estate industry involving investments, sales and lease transactions combined with over two decades of knowledge in the F&B and hospitality industry, Shai Ben-Ami founded the commercial brokerage Urban Core. 

To date, Shai has sold over 250 million worth of commercial real estate in Miami´s greater Downtown area, bringing in some of the most influential real estate investors such as Moishe Mana, Dany Lavy and Mishorim Investments, a publicly traded company of Tel Aviv stock exchange, to name a few. In addition, Shai has established numerous new businesses and ventures which he has incorporated into these properties. 

The unique combination of his F&B and hospitality background mixed with his knowledge in the commercial real estate industry has led to many interesting partnerships. Where he´s been able to own and operate projects, together with international investors as well as some of the most prominent F&B and hospitality groups in Miami, including BarLab, Space and III Points.” 

Driven by a lifelong commitment to philantrophy, Shai has been serving on the board for the non-for-profit organization (Pesias Kitchen) since 2019, whose mission is to feed the hungry. 

Second, he´s been elected President of the board for Centro Condominium since 2018, where he´s been involved in overseeing the management and operations to maximize valuation for ownership. From an investor standpoint as well as an operating business and resident’s point of view.
